Entrevista A Ladies On Mars En Name That Track
Ladies On Mars.
Entrevista completa en inglés:
NTT: Can you tell us here at Name That Track how your musical career started?
LOM: My career as ladies on mars started on the end of 2006 when I released my first ep
called “a rescue from planet earth” on bit records Mexico. that ep included tracks like “Sex
Machine”, “My Computr Boy” and “Perfect Distractions” the style was very experimental in
the beginning. That’s was the born of ladies on mars, but I have to confession that started
producing before that…I thought started in 2003 when I decide to study “electroacustic music” in
the university. my first tracks was very different as now, the style was techno pop like kraftwerk,
not for dancefloor. my first aka was MUSASERO.
NTT: You have to tell us how Buenos Aires has embraced the world of electronic music and
what is the scene like?
LOM: I think Buenos Aires is considered the reference of electronic music in Latin
America. here there are a lot of races and different cultures that is mixed, everything
about the culture is very rich and variety, for that reason the musical proposition are
very variety.
Although electronic music is not at its boom in the last two years, I believe that
2011 will be much better, i hope so …. : P
NTT: Can you tell us about some of the artists you work with at the present time?
LOM: At the present im working with Christian fischer on his label definition
records, im very happy to work with him, he gives me much freedom at the
time create music or remixes or choose the designs of album covers. Same with
the record label of my friend Alex Aguilar, Xela Digital or Matias Rivero for Wild Thing
Box. Now I finishing a remix for a nort American band called HOME VIDEO, the track
I remixed its named “Every Love That Ever Was” and will be released on “Progrezo
Records” on vinyl and digital I think in February/March I don’t have the final date
yet. And also i’m working in new tracks! So, soon you have new music from Ladies On
Mars.
NTT: What exactly is a Strudel Attack?

in my debut album “first landing”decided to put that name but nothing in particular,
I like to play with the names, I have fun:)
